It rained on the night parade of lights
We were debating breezes and how you said
you could control the weather long enough
for me to light up, but I missed my chance
pondering your audacity, & inspiration swept
across my shoulders in the form of a dark smile

Wet leaves glistened and we listened to invisible frogs:
whispering Inns of no outs for fireflies,
and I wondered if their tongues glowed

You have issues and I have fanciful moods
so we, like wind chimes, dangle around subjects
and toast them with the agreement of pipes

I smoked some tranquil music
with your confident lyrics
They had a nice ring to ‘em,
but not enough for me to get naked with my thoughts

Your night vision is better than mine
I’m aware of that,
except whatever I fall hard over during the day
I’m nocturnal about

Soft webs of water fell, limb to limb
The sky kept grumbling around us like a hungry dog
I kept walkin’ with the back of my mind to it
while staying
on the sensitive topic of hands

No bones

No bones, in the woods

Just the soft scents of muster & matter,
the fallen and grayed-open damp,
shapes that shiver & drink
But the heart is done, so strongly prized,
as the most perfumed part
of a tree

I’m Incensed

If you stand still long enough, you’ll find me

Regina

I love reading you ... even if I'm not quite sure of something concrete to say after, the mood stays with me.

Regina~
There is soft beauty to the voice of this~
Couldn't help but notice just the hint of internal rhyme~

Regina, this is simply just wonderful my friend, you held me with each word, especially enjoyed these few lines.

You have issues and I have fanciful moods
so we, like wind chimes, dangle around subjects
and toast them with the agreement of pipes

You are difting on a pain of magical and I like it dear friend.

I don't know how long I can stand still, but hope your magic finds me again reading you. Thanks for sharing.

Reg,
I like this path you are on as it so inspires amazing images in my mind that would never have developed any other way. And as I pause, almost I think, I have found you.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane,
I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Regina,
one of the best writes I have read in a long time, this swarmed visuals dripping off of each sentence which took my mind and dragged it along like a little kid pulling her wagon...

and I loved the description of two totally different people, and how their cultures clashed...and yet, love still abodes...

Brilliant write...thank you

This is lovely and kind of wraps around my mind.  You write beautiful music to my tongue and the song lingers.

Thank you.
