Note: After reading this today I wanted to post it. It was written by my son for the girl he's to marry July 28, 2007......................................

A Poem For You (Abigail Anne Williams)

Whisper, the still, cold air desires it,
the warm love that flows
from the very air you release.
Your words, so soft, do not pierce,
but surround every heart they touch.
Your eyes told me so,
they pierced my heart to let the words in,
and when you spoke that first word,
you surrounded my heart.

This Son Of Mine

Was it yesterday
when he was born,
and I held him for the first time?
Was it only yesterday
when first his eyes looked into mine?
Could it be,
how can it be,
after all these years gone by. . .
and yet still seem but a day ago,
that first I loved this son of mine?

ohhhh my, just goes to show blood is way thicker...he writes with extreme feelings, like his father...excellent...loved both poems...
