Ceiling visitor
in another year
corner spot secured
a niche was known
a secret spun
lowered in the night
raised in the day
back to corner spot

She wept another year
for spent vacations
turned her head up
ceiling vistor consoled her
a niche was known
a secret spun
lowered in the night
raised next day
another holiday vaporized...

The nights passed
a front corner preferred
for descent
a back one chosen
for an ascent
a slip of the silk
it lowered its gaze
as the woman spent tears
for spent vacations
and stale birthday cakes

Flies were caught that summer
she wept still
into thinned cloths
but lower eyelids
dried with  resolution
a slip of the silk
the spinner met her face
in the morning mirror
the nights had passed
a niche was known
she would turn
discover a spun secret
arachnid traces
in her  misery...
she knew her void
it knew its web.

"ceiling vistor consoled her'
I have never read a poem about a relationship between a spider and a person and yet this is absolutely wonderful!

Do you take it as just a spider? Poetry is rich with metaphors, imagry and allusions. Perhaps it is time then to read about things that you are unfamiliar with...
