Nodding I talk to a God without thought;
we sit with tea and crumpets,
enjoying the dizziness of the day.
Nothing moves faster than the stars, setting a daring mood,
I clutch the interest of squirrels with my pink toes.
Soliciting an answer to life, a shrewd glance slashes
at my veins, he sees through my ghostly image, while
my tea, cold, spills ice into blood river,
“Children are dying” scolding me his eyes laugh, and teeth
glare, this is not my place. The sun frowned with heat
as the old man from the market shriveled and set upon a journey
“What is it to not die young?”
wiping the crumbs from his wire lips he finally uttered,

“Time”

The clocked stopped I called his name…

“Tomorrow would have been better for tea”

"Nothing moves faster than the stars, setting a daring mood"

nothing except your mind

you need big Hugs
and room to cry

this one bites hard

What can I say but you make me feel you.  I am not sure that I do understand, but I am not so sure that I need to.  You make me feel and want to read more.  That's enough for me for the time being.

Dominique-Simone,

I could drag no meaning from this what so ever.  Take your time and do a little polishing.

Intense write. I like the twist: the assumption of tea being relaxed. Not even! And it works for me in a surreal manner. Thanks for sharing.

sincerely,
