What is True Love? Dedicated to My Baby By Charles D. Brewster True love is a connection that goes on forever and ever And with this special connection, may no person ever sever It is more than just compassion; it’s a knowing deep within The moment that you feel this, that’s when true love starts to begin True love can be seen when you are looking eye to eye You can see into their heart and soul; let no one, this deny True love is telepathic, in which each mate will hold It’s a chemistry that happens to make each gentle, proud and bold True love isn’t always easy; sometimes we fall into a rut When we fuss and fight; it leaves a sickening feeling deep inside our gut Then we go back to the basics of what true love’s all about We hug and kiss each other as we’ll do this life, throughout To find a perfect partner is often very rare But, when you find this perfect partner; there’s nothing to compare Of the joy and happiness found in each others embrace There is nothing in this world; together we can’t face True love isn’t instant; it grows stronger as time goes by Learn your lover’s needs and wants by asking and never be to shy When your partner isn’t by your side, you feel like a little lamb that’s lost Be true and faithful to your mate, for if not, your true love it will cost |

It was a very nice poem Charles, and I'm sure your "Baby" loved it. LOL. However, nobody can say what true love is, but it can be seen through your actions and words. It can only be described with the limited words we have to speak with. "True Love", just another mystery in life. Peace. Love. Forgiveness. |
