Journey to Me I reach back to darker recesses, in light more than I know just misplaced a decade or so. My lost journey I take again with him, eyes closed he leads my way, I know. Through guitars’ flutter on wings of butterflies painted yellow and trimmed in hues of cobalt blues while charming black and white birds sing melodies that patter throughout against a backdrop of a slow moving beat. I will move into his dream- my dream with one burst of his voice in highest octaves, he lays me down in lyrics of love... Unmatched- Paralyzing my heart momentarily until I breathe in his breath with mine in the same way, holding it as deeply as yesterday. Once forgotten... now connecting then and then again. My spirit exhales and I escape my skin. I am here and I am not. But I am me. |

Patricia! It's been awhile since I have had the pleasure of reading your love-ly poetic offerings! ~ Too long a while! "My spirit exhales and I escape my skin. I am here and I am not. But I am me." It appears to me that the journey back to you was well worth it! ~ and a fine you, ye be! ![]() Giving you a warm, welcome-back, hug to these blue pages and to yourself! ![]() EA |

Very nice Patricia. I liked the way it flowed and the feel of it. I get an intimate feeling when I'm reading this for some reason. Hehehe.Looks like somebody just got there socks knocked off before they wrote this. LOL. I really liked it though. Great write. Peace. Love. Forgiveness. |

It's so good to have you home again... and this made me think of all of the great opera stars... easy enough for a man to put himself into your shoes, as well, and to think of the more tender voices... well done, m'dear! |
