(For those of you who followed these poems when I first showed up in the blue a few years ago...this is a NEW 'ABC poem'...lol   'ABC' being my best friend from highschool days!)

Many prayers I’ve said for you
Through many years apart
Often wondering where you are
Feeling you in heart

Life has shown you many things
You’ve been through more than I
While in my safe little world I wait
Watching time go by

You go as fast as you come in
Some good days and some bad
You bring your friendship back to me
We talk about times had

Always we talk in honesty
At times amongst certain tears
Other times you bring me smiles
We talk of life, love and fears

I want to see your face again
My friend from long ago
I want to hold you in my arms
And I hope you always know

Never should you have a doubt
There will never be a time
When you are not welcome in my heart
You’ve completed so much of my rhyme

You write with such a special feathering enveloping your friend!  Love spans distance in a heartbeat.

I like this lots - you made me think of my friend.  We shared coloring books in the first grade.  I think I better call her.

you were overdue for an 'ABC' poem, eh?...

Well I, for one, am glad you
