Crying Eyes Now See

Once I was in love
with the world
because I was in love
with a girl
who told me
that she loved me.

But time did tell
a different tale
and now this world
doesn't seem so swell,
at least not
the part my crying
eyes now see.

I always try not to say I love you unless I mean it

it's hard with this one I'm with...he's constantly saying it and I feel bad not saying it back

Thank you Drauntz, passing shadows and The Lady...
Passing I look at relationships as opportunitys to learn and grow...I like to believe that there are levels of achievement...perhaps he needs someone like you at this time in his life to talk to him about love as a process that takes time to grow...and perhaps you need to have those discussions to sort it out in your own mind...James
