Yes, I am guilty of using a regional pronunciation of "ideas" as is seen in Mirriam-Webster:

Pronunciation: \î-ˈdç-ə, -ˈdçə also ˈî-(ˌ

LOL! I understand. Nan and I had a knock-down drag-out years ago on whether FIELD was one syllable (hers) or two (mine). Of course, growing up in Louisiana, I always thought YES was a two-syllable word
