SummerRise

To be wild, a coyote call moon
Radiance levitates highest June
That summons aurora to wink
Cotton spun, as if candy just pink

On the drench of the musk laden air
Hovers heavy the stillness kept clear
But for now, the sundown with relief
Steals the stars in full fledged disbelief

To be wild, this returned pagan rite
Every voice in the pack echoes bright
Raising tingled response down the spine
SummerRise, at all gloss to define

Dearest Diamond,
I especially enjoyed how you came back to the wolves at the end there.

Peaceful, serene and a beautiful picture you paint with your words Kathleen.  Nicely done.

I especially LOVE:

“coyote-call” moon;

heavy….stillness hover(ing) on musk laden air;

AND:

the  “sundown steal(ing)…stars …in disbelief(!)”

Applause for the fine imagery in this summertime ‘write’!
