Ruins of Lebanon The evening creeps in shadows as a mountain-sunset’s amber-desert afterglow warms and teases broken columns, (lost-city sentinels of forgotten men) marching in place and wonder… through the eternal sands and fugacious whims of Time’s indifference, attempting to remember some small point or purpose for their endless vigilance! ~ [This message has been edited by secondhanddreampoet (06-27-2007 08:05 PM).] |

I quite like the thought of endless vigilance... How many times I have waited for something that is never going to happen... ie like the kids making me a cup of tea... whoops that just sprung to mind. Vigilance can be a game of lottery. |
