I am hiding behind a mask Not ready to show the world who I truly am Or maybe I am just waiting for someone brave enough to take my mask off Tell me its ok I like you the way you are Now you just have to show the world who you really are The way I see you |

Hmm... I liked this poem. It's short and it also left a point. I feel that if not everybody, then mostly everybody is hiding behind a mask or insecure about something. So very nice, although I felt that "Or maybe" should have stood by itself on the third line. It would have read better that way. |

Ahh The Phantom of the Opera. How we all like to unmask each other... even without being asked. Eric |

Indeed, I don't think we should ask to be unmasked. Peace. Love. Forgiveness. |

as long as you are comfortable in who you are, nothing else should matter take it off and be yourself |

I think at times, we all wear our own kind of mask... it's always a brave and courageous thing to take them off... enjoyed. RDB Be kind at heart....for everyone you meet has their own battle to fight......... |
