   Remembering One Small Kindness…
      [for Rosalie…a 'fine artist'
        and ‘poetic inspiration’]

When evening falls
among the brooding clouds
aspiring to prophecy,
and a droumy wind
rides the gathering mist
(like a dusk-white horse
   of humble consequence)
through the pooling twilight
   and memories...
of all that we have ‘left behind’
and those we have sadly ‘missed’
   along the way,
I draw greatest comfort
from these emulous words
while thinking of you...
sculpting your dreams
   and tributes
to the very finest of man;
and, I am held suspended
   in ephiphanous delight,
to know that just one small
   ‘random kindness’
so very, very long ago…
could ripple through time,
(channeled by your grand talent)
to make ever so much ‘difference’
for all of mankind!
