The sun sets Just above the low hills There are flights of birds Crossing the Western sky Crickets have already begun Their final nocturnal symphonies Among the weeds Holding books Against your breasts You talk on subjects Which have no relevance To anything learned in school And I couldn’t care less That I’m already late for class Immersed in the colors Of your eyes . |
