 Do you ever feel Like your world is closing in A feeling of sadness so overwhelming That you need that comfort A soothing word An ear to listen to your cry Finding your self completely alone With no one to share that Which troubles you It is how I feel today Tears of loneliness Flow from my eyes As I sit here in the dark Not feeling sorry for myself Just contemplating my options So many things tormenting my thoughts Confused and lost… Do you really care how I feel today Did you care yesterday Will you care tomorrow…. I can’t answer that Reached out to someone Who called themselves a friend Told me if I need a friend Just to dial the number Tonight I needed thatfriend And I got no answer… To my message filled with tears Jen--->MindBodySoul |

fine, powerful, emotive 'write'! "Do you ever feel Like your world is closing in A feeling of sadness so overwhelming" [that kinda' "sums up" my life in the proverbial 'nutshell'!] There are at least a few of us innate (and "other-directed") 'empaths' out here...who 'care' (perhaps far, far too much) how others feel EVERY day! [likely how I 'ruined my own life' caring about everyone and everything else...rather than myself; etc.] MUCH applause! |
