Forever In Your Heart

0 posted 2007-06-16 04:26 PM

Breathe life into me,
make my chest arise,
my soul come alive,

Create me in your image,
where I can be a mirror,
to your soul,

Touch my eyes with words,
draped in soft rose petals,
drowning my mind,

My thoughts kissed by words,
take me there with you,
beside your heart,

Where souls die together,
eternally entwined,
and love never departs.

J. M. Barrie, the playwright, may have said it best when he wrote, “God gave us memories so that we might have roses in December.”

Each verse is beautiful poetry.

Create me in your image,
where I can be a mirror,
to your soul,

Your poetry is always romantic, soft and lovely.
