Lumpy Oatmeal makes me Crazy!

Flying across river flats, sun bright and sky high blue
Broken branches, silver with frost, hang to arch
Over trails cut in frosty snow banks and expansive fields
Mountains smile, benevolent keepers of nature land
Viewing all at their feet casting north winds upon them

She flies faster, faster, coaxing more speed to glide above
Snow flakes and cat tails and grasses caught in the past
Hair whips with a sting before it is captured in the breeze
Troubles have lost their voice as silence envelopes
Weaving patterns in virginal snow, she cuts her path

Leaving behind little to show she was there

Thank you
-- just me on my snowmobile
on a cold, blue-skied, winter day --
