An elixir's defined as a quite special mixture, simmered slow and refined as according to scripture, it's restorative powers have been known as "The Cure", lend an ear to the "Doc" while he tells it for sure. Lay a beat down in blue and they'll paint you a picture, slick and smooth jammin' grooves for your listening pleasure. Get a dose of these guys and you'll make 'em a fixture, gotta just have some more of Doc Orloffs' elixir. |

Hey I'll stand in line for that stuff  When can I get it?Had to stop in when I saw that name I haven't seen for quite a while and besides, this looks like it needs a good boot in the rear to get it back up to the top again. Nice to see you on the blue pages Ruth |

Dear Hoot, Many thanks for the boot, you can kick me anytime! I had the pleasure of listening to these guys a week or so ago ( yes, they are an actual band hailing from the capitol district area of N.Y.). Aside from the fact that their drummer is an old friend, I was stuck by their talent and professionalism, hence my little poem for the guys. Doc Sunshine, Dang, now why didn't I think of that ! Well, actually I saw them outside at a free concert in a park ( no alcohol served ). However, I have made plans to attend The Lake George N.Y blues festival where they will be playing at Duffy's tavern the 29th and 30th of September. Thanks for the reply, and please excuse the plug for the band, but I was quite impressed. Doc |
