My inner battle

You are unaware of what you do to me
it's almost like you are oblivious
to the anguish that you cause
how you can floor me
with one simple word
or action.
Your ignorance to the suffering that you arouse
stings in a way like no other
you create questions in my head
but take all logic away
so I'm back at the beginning
but still with a broken heart
which was shattered many moons ago
and which will never be repaired
as long as you
are still
residing
in my life
