I never got the chance to look in your eyes before the storm came rushing through and washed away whatever feeling I had in my heart for you. Chances are, you probably lied but that's okay, most men do. Now I guess you'll never know, though I don't think you had a clue. After the rain such a bittersweet view. |

Yes, the rain truly does have a way of cleansing the air and clarifying our view. May all your future vistas, be glorious ones! Linda |

a grand-fine 'write'! [but, I do think 'generalizations' about ANY segment of 'humanity' are dangerous!: ("most.... 'whomever'....do 'whatever'!"...)] applause! |

Most might lie Dixie, but there are a lot that do not and would not, everyone has their way and day. Happiness and love, we all would near die for, chances are for trying and then comes the truth of love and the commitment of those that are meant to be. We all live our own tests and live with our own mistakes. Lucky for us, we have many chances to get it right. Have a great day Dixie and remember love might be just around the next corner. Take care. I like this one. It's short, which adds to its power. The air of disillusionment is done perfectly. Nan (Pilgrim variety) |
