Orange butterfly name lost a-twirl over lavender Verbena and a cabbage moth as if it were spring wings like a leaf caught in the tangle of air The white rose and I watch like a mother as high above pinecones cling to the bony brown arms of a tree that no one looks at but me in a wilderness next to a parking lot next to a court house lunch and jury duty |

Leaf....caught in a tangle of air...up, up, and will it find a branch to land on? Perhaps it will. I honestly don't know what there is about this poem that holds me, but there's something....
