Chill in the air
Damp summer rainy night
Fingers touch cooled skin
Slowly stripping remnants of the day
Clothes flutter to the floor
Like autumn leaves to the ground
Discarded, no longer needed
It feels like fall tonight
Aching lonely
And that chill
In the air

Wraps like a hug with no warmth
