If there is any ambiguity Claims of my perspicuity Are false I fear Or so I hear In fact it is verbosity Along with speech velocity For which I'm known Some people groan When without a hint of reticence I display my verbal eloquence I start to talk Then people walk Away quite fast without a hesitance In their gait, with nary a chance To say goodbye I know not why? It might be I am too erudite, For simple folk, I am not contrite, I shan't stay mum Because they're dumb I do not intend to be gratuitous, But perhaps it is a bit fortuitous, They had their chance So good riddance My speech for folk may be too grandiose, So I guess it is time now to say to all adios Quite simply I say, Farewell and good day. |

Very Nice! This reminds of everyone I work with who complain I use too many big words. My vocabulary is what it is and I enjoy varied topics of conversation. I won't dumb myself down for them. "The only way to learn to fly is to spread your wings and jump." |

I'm often wrought by such a figure that would stay my words such as this So I turn my back, offering a cold shiver and nary glance back to leave a kiss... You just be yourself, sir... for that we might get the best of you here. |
