      Los Canos de Meca
[mountain, forest, and beach]

cobalt sky
fading
in amber and amethyst…

sunset
weaving
soft-crimson dreams…

mountain silhouettes
dancing
dark-forest tunes…

blue moon
rising
in frosted stars…

hushed waves
sculpting
quick-silver sands…

footprints
following
tracks of Time!...

I love all the color imagery!
Blue moon...now, as I hum a tune from another time,
my mind sinks my toes into wet sand memories of my beloved Pacific coast.
I found a photo of Los Canos.

Secondhanddreampoet,

This is a very pleasant read.  Like me, you're surrounded by things to write about.  That's a very good thing.

HI!  Really a nice piece of work!  I'd look at the last stanza, as the footprints in the sand of time thing doesn't quite hold up to the fresh imagery of all that precedes.  That's the only thing I can see that needs a little fix in a fine piece.

Best, Jim
