A Romantic Heart Member Ascendant

All the little things, so very special, sent with loving care, each something special, I love them all, little gifts, all to warm my heart, thank you so much, For making my days, special, beautiful, filled with romance, excitement. Smelling them reminds me, of you, what your room, your home smells like, all the senses are aroused, The drawings, the cards, the music, songs I listen to while taking a long bath, soap purchased for me, from bath and body, ocean breeze. Letters with words of love, care, devotion, and pho'o's places you have traveled, flowers planted, All the little things, precious, gifts shared, bought just for me, While making an apple pie, I found that apple apron, and placed it on, while reading that recipe book, Recipes you and I talked about, and how we would bake together, throwing flour and sugar, having a food fight, While listening to classical music, and afterwords, you would kiss the flour away from my eyes, and we would make up. So many things, so many thoughts, packages of love, filled with more than the things inside.... J. M. Barrie, the playwright, may have said it best when he wrote, “God gave us memories so that we might have roses in December.” |
