Time heals all wounds, that’s what’s been said. Now, some time has passed, yet, still they are dead. My heart and my soul, have been laid down to rest, ripped from their places, and out of my breast. Once sorrow, once pain, once misery and woe, all taken away, like a defeated foe. Sadness all gone, My GOD I can breathe! Yet, now an emptiness, I can not make leave. Along with the sorrow, along with the pain, I had lost something special, I had once hoped to gain. No longer the love, no longer the joy, no longer the pleasure, of a well-worn toy. The wound is a large one, it cuts rather deep. I had hoped over time, my heart again I could keep. A hole in my chest, where my heart used to be, ridded of sorrow, and ridded of me. Away with my feelings there in no real me, always to walk with nothing to see. My story’s a sad one, this, it is so, always to walk with no place to go. Beware of that statement, that tells you of time, no matter the days, wounds still you will find. |

Grief is heavy, m'friend. Interesting that our English language for grief has the same root in the Latin as "gravity"... interesting and very, very apt. May you feel the lightness of being soon... *hugs* |

Time is more than a day or a week a month a year...it is a journey taking us away from that which was before...and with new experiences come new lessons new opportunities and when we are ready, acceptance and forgiveness will embrace us...James |
