That Lovin' Feelin'

I've lost that loving feeling,
unsure it can be brought back.
Wondering the "ifs" and "maybes"
and if the future will still the lack.

A kiss is just a kiss most days,
with deeper meanings hid.
But I've lost that loving feeling
as I reference the " forbid."

In my mind I'm finished,
but tell my body so.
Release those old and tired thoughts
that keep love in escrow.

I'm waiting for those feelings,
the kind that show their face.
The feedback, phrases distanced only
by words held in their place.

One needs to hear them often
though body languaged can speak
meanings dreamt of tinted rose
through glasses in times of weak.

I've lost that loving feeling,
waiting for the heartprints stay.
The cure I know will seed itself
in the real of you someday.
