           should i retire from writing poetry

when i’m ready for you to flow with me?

         were you born to never “go with me”?

would I be reborn knowing that glowingly

you read my poetry, yet unknowingly

thought i was the type of guy

who'd pipe down if your "gateways" to happiness were too shy to tell my Gateway

                          you care?
