Many Questions,
One Answer

How does a cow praise the Lord?
The trees, how do they give glory to God?
Do birds really sing a constant Hallelujah?
Can the rocks echo the promise of Victory?

Why as I move deeper into self, do I end up further in estrangement?

Is not milk a form of Eucharist?
Or is not maple sap the sweetness of the Lord?
Are not the birds of the air named and numbered?
Eggs the fruit of Heaven?
Grain the Bread of Life?

Life, is it not defined by the very breath of the Divine?
Why do I find it so difficult to recognize in myself, the Holy?
And why am I so immature and egocentric
as to think that I am in charge?
of something?
of anything?

Are there any answers?

And a voice replied;
“A cow praised the Lord by being a cow –
and a tree, by only being a tree!
You were created in the divine image,
Destined to be in relationship.
As a spiritual being on a human journey,
You are eternally connected to the divine.”

“Simply be as you were created.”

Who are you?

The voice said to me,
“I am what I am.”*

.....Saved faster than you can say, "Holy Cow!!!"

My goodness! I cannot praise you enough for this divine piece of writing! It was penned with 'Amazing Grace'!

Namaste ~ the divine in me, honors the divine in you!

Joseph,

Your writings are strength,
and gentleness.

I'm so glad you've been able
to "crack the code!"
