My moment came,
even though I didn't see.

That what I asked for,
had been handed to me.

I wanted something real,
something I've never had.

I am learning what that means,
and sometimes it hurts bad.

It's ups and downs,
and laughter and tears.

It's the kinda stuff,
that builds over years.

That when you look back,
and you have the memories in line.

You realize that what you asked for,
came in a moment in time.
