Walking On The Wild Side If you have some free time on the weekend like I do take a walk on the wild side and enjoy this world from a forests view. Oh I know its not all lit up and flashy like Vegas and its not as enticing as the Mall, but once you step into the beauty of the mountain, plants and trees you will appreciate natures call. Stay on the trail, lest a wild pig hassles you, and make sure you bring enough drinking water for the local menehunes too. Enjoy the majesty of the forest, so green and fresh and pristine. There's not enough money to buy the tranquility gained beside a cool running mountain stream. JamesLee 20May 2007 |

So true. I love the out doors. Thanks for taking me out there for a bit. Nice writing, Kristabell "You are today where your thoughts have brought you; you will be tomorrow where your thoughts take you." James Lane Allen |

Nothing like a forest and a mountain to be one with nature and one with All. Inhaling beauty. Enjoyed this very much, James. love, Margherita |

Thank you Kristabell, Drauntz, Margherita and Sunshine for the wonderful responses... The options are many; by oneself, with a personal friend or as a member of a hiking club...the rewards are many; the beauty of nature, the companionship, the physical challenges...James |

James Your poem calmed me much like a walk in the woods does. Thank you. Very beautiful. A |

What a beautiful poem. I believe the beauty of nature far outweighs the sunset strip! |
