seperate dishes, please
one  for her 'mash tatoes
another for exactly 22 peas

put some salad in another
just the baby tomatoes
and half a slice of cucumber

chocolate milk in her favorite sippy cup
don't stir it with a spoon, Mommy!!!
give it to me, I'll shake it up

by the time she's ready to finally eat
her sisters are finished
and she pouts in her seat

she eats absolutely not one bite!!
but oh how hungry she is
on her way to brush her teeth tonight

so, back downstairs
she has a fruit salad
of grapes and pears

Mommy, I love you
her final statement of the night
and I know you love me, she says
and she's absolutely right.

Awww,Ms sb, I love this and it reminds me of a story I want to share with you.

A friend told me about a woman she is friends with.  The lady is a single parent of three children.  The youngest is/was three.  He loved his kitty. One night the woman came home early - cooked roast beef, vegetables .. the full meal deal.  She was so happy to serve a good, healthy, homemade dinner.  The older children ate it all but the younger refused to eat his vegetables.  She kept cajoling him, fussing with him, and finally she had it.  She was desperate!  She looked at him and said,"If you don't eat those vegetables, I will give your kitty away!"  He burst into tears, waved and cried, "Bye, bye kitty."
