Where I Told You I Was Dying In the middle of the night many years ago there was a place we sat in the quiet, I let you know that a death like this was better than trying to hold on to feelings of a love that had long been gone I don't recall the season, or the feel of the air, or the look in your eyes when you saw my blank stare, knowing that the love we had was not around anywhere. But it was at a bench in the middle of the park, where we'd just taken advantage of the cover of the dark. Tears, if any, went unseen, and before the sun crept in, I got up, turned, and walked away, never to return again. |

I knew that love was dying For each day I was crying And though you never seemed to know I had to go, I had to go There is a lot more love in the world to find my friend, I as you do search. Rick |

All I can say is WOW. That was fantastic. I felt as if the words in the poem were from me myself. I do not need shine or wealth, just a pen and some paper for my health |
