Sleep Easy Rain Turned beneath a sea of softest sheets Senses stir against the weave of smooth conceit Letting rest shower on a twilight mind in spirit talk Glittered perfume sifts upon the air the cosmos mock Singing hammock hymns in muted choir Spill By drop Desire A repertoire of sighs, bathing REM glazed eyes Hands lifted delicately by sweetest dreams indemnify That comfort is by most a state of blinding cry As rain the symbol of renewal, in lullaby Spill By drop Desire Turned the upward palms in thirst retire Folding from the prone to perfect clarity Horizons hum in rose blushed equanimity And dream I will, just listening to sleep easy rain Copyright Kkh 5/15/07 |

"Turned the upward palms in thirst retire Folding from the prone to perfect clarity Horizons hum in rose blushed equanimity And dream I will, just listening to sleep easy rain" Solitude, calmness: living in a seascape painting. What a beautiful poem,TD. JL Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: |

Horizons hum in rose blushed equanimity And dream I will, just listening to sleep easy rain ~*~ Now, that makes for some easy turning beneath the coverlets... |

"As rain the symbol of renewal, in lullaby" Kathleen, soft rain drops are like a lullaby, softly putting us to sleep. It is so relaxing. Hugs, Ethel |
