I thought I was with you

all the way...
then....

how does one describe

barber's adagio for strings?

turning inside out

two versions owing separate effects

not surprising

how a rivulet gradually

becomes one

with a large watercourse~

emotional meaning?

you bet!

beginning quietly

gradually building

then...

overwhelming climax

back down to a

break speed quiet
end

then

musical sequence

that said

only strings can play

an empire
is it you?

a masterpiece

he looked like you
message in a bottle
self composer

neo-romantic
harmonies

way too complex

extremely dissornant

experimental

only a summer romance

you said

tell me again

write me again

and again

           and again

singing in a full throated way

those strings...

no wonder you can't breath?

articulated rose arbor

picinic basket

and you

classical summer of 99

concertos, piano, violin

sounding like a faraway lute

baying of green Ireland

oxygen

          electrontic

                          trance

love is an ocean

                 remix

.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.

took me years to

.
.
.

be able to...

say

I despise you

Wow, LeeJ, hitting hard you are today but  exceptionally well.  I suppose those words after all the years must bring a sense of freedom and freedom is meant to be enjoyed.  Your "freedom of expression" is certainly enjoyed by me.

You make music, art, poetry.
You words are the gold in a marvelous sunset.
But your uppercut is a knockout punch…

Great write Lee J.

interesting title and ‘write’!

[quite an ending!]

I especially liked:

“...overwhelming climax

back down to a

break speed quiet
end…”;

“…neo-romantic
harmonies

way too complex…”

“…sounding like a faraway lute

baying of green Ireland…”

one question:  “dissornant” ??

I see what you meant by your reply to my poem! It appears we were both having lunar moments!

Your denouement came out of left field and packed a powerful punch of poetic justice!

Loved it! ~ and you!

Great expression in this piece.

Much enjoyed,

You are all the better
for the sensual...

and then common sense...

but still, you remember a maestro
and the tune still knows
your heartstrings.

Well done, gal!
