Stardust Souls and Moonbeams’ Dreamy Flight When evening falls... and serenity wraps the mind, my heart and spirit dance to the soft, kind shadow-cadence of one tiny drum playing mid memory-echoes from the distant past, (As night-blossoms ripple in frost and smoky moonlight) I realize only then... that poets’ stardust souls and words cannot remain locked upon a page (never to tell a different tale); but shall instead ride articulate winds, forever transcending ‘place and time’ with all cares lost to moonbeams’ dreamy flight! |

Oh, this is just magical! Especially fine: ..." to the soft, kind shadow-cadence of one tiny drum playing mid memory-echoes from the distant past, " " I realize only then... that poets’ stardust souls and words" " ride articulate winds, forever transcending ‘place and time’ " |

ride articulate winds, forever transcending ‘place and time’~Loved these lines! And the whole poem was a treat! ~ARH J. M. Barrie, the playwright, may have said it best when he wrote, “God gave us memories so that we might have roses in December.” |
