.

A big fish
Is swimming down
The narrow channel

Its fin rises up
Out of the water
Like a great sail

And as I watch it
Passing by
From the other side
I think I can hardly wait
To call my father

Hey Pop
It’s finally arrived
The one
You’ve been waiting for
All this time

[and most certainly a
  slice-of-life
   "everperson-dejavu"
     for those of us who
      had inveterate
       fisherman dads!]

I understand sir.
Something  deeply embedded in this poem  is the love between father and child.

You know him.  You know what he liked and what he wanted. You were so happy when something he liked came because you love him and you both would share a happy moment. It is so nice to know that you have a great father. you may want to share some wonderful stories with us.

I do not want to ruin your mood, sir. But it is very normal to feel the feelings of beloved ones passing away. I myself have prepared for years that one or both of my parents would go. I try my best to serve them when they are still living so I would not have anything to regret later and I don't even want to go their funerals because  they will forever live in my heart and soul. truly. and they are in my backbones too.

many hugs to you.

Nice...reminds me of when I stand next to the ocean shore and keep hoping I'll see some big fish along with the smaller ones...and how excited I get when I see a large one...James
