Graduation is drawing near
A very special day indeed
A day that you and your friends
Will etch in your memory forever

Graduation is an important day in time
The day you walk up those stairs
On to that big stage
And in front of your peers
Shake the hand of your teacher
And take in hand your diploma

And as you walk off stage
You keep hearing all the cheers
Of all your family and friends
Who helped you out through the years

As you walk back to your seat
Your fellow graduates smile
And wave as you walk by
Waiting for their chance
To take in hand that diploma

Graduation Day
Is not a day to forget
it is a day to celebrate
12 years of school completed
And the rest of your life
laying ahead
