If I'm afraid,
Will you be there to calm my fears?
If I'm happy,
Will you share that joy with me?
If I'm sad,
Will you be there to comfort me?
And will you be there to help me up when I fall?
Because that's what true love is about,
Always being there for one another.
If you won't do that,
Then why even bother?

this is a very interesting poem. Very arrogant!
it is either a heavenly call or a celestial demand.

I do all this to my friends but none of my friend demanded me to do them and vice versa.

nice poem and welcome this wonderful site.

Kaci -  I agree...that is what love should be about...acceptance is fine, but to have the sharing no matter what, is the better part of loving.

Welcome,
M

I remember posting my first poem on this site....  and though critic could be a bit harsh yet educational... I know you will love it here... I have and consider all my fellow poets family, because this is what this community  is all about..

self expression of your most inner thoughts and feelings, being shared with people who truly understand...

WELCOME!!!
