My Dance, My Journey: For You

If ever in need of a smile to take away your frown
just look here and I will lift you up

Moon out shining so bright I stand on a mountain top
you sit at the bottom of the mountain

You see my shadows
And I dance for you in a flowing dress

As the song "Moments In Love" soothes the air
entranced by my moves you remain in awe

My skin gleaming as if wet
I know I was a mess but here Iam now a true Goddess

You have stood by me through it all
Smiles , tears as if knowing me for years

Your heart made of pure gold
Yes you have impressed me truely

So I give this one to you
This dance

I know what you feel for me is strong
and truely Im blessed to have your heart

Don't think my heart doesn't melt by your kindness
Or that I think not of you when your gone

Im your friend from here til then on
So come my boy take my hand

I will lead you on a journey of a lifetime
Sit by me on this hill side

Tell me of your journeys
and I will tell you mine

And on lonely nights we will sit by the light
watch the sun go down over the ocean in site

I have lost the true love in my life
Only thing I need is you here to take away my strife

On warm nights as tonight
when havent a lover in site

You should be here to walk beside me
And that truely is all I will ever need

Your friendship to me
means more then all the love I recieve

So my dear friend when the nights are cold an wet
turn to me and I will warm you up

I do not need shine or wealth, just a pen and some paper for my health

I can't believe that this poem is written by a lady...you must be a very strong lady.

the love is there and the love is there again.

thank you , glad you enjoyed . Im told im a strong person by many people who know me.

can't help being reminded of New Hope, and walking through the feeling of being no where yet somewhere with that someone special. Very lovely and peaceful write...gifting that all so contented feeling.
