Salted Kisses

I dream of sea spray
Salted air kissing my cheeks
Wallflower shells waiting
Waiting for the waves to dance
Waiting for the embrace of the tides
Waiting for me
As I dream of the sea
And again
It sprays my face with kisses.

aziza

I love that feeling of being on the beach with the sea spray on my face.  Nicely done!

Aw, yes! The ocean calls to me as well! I used to live on the East Coast (Canada) and I do miss those misty sea kisses!

A refreshing piece of poetry, sweet aziza!

Sorry that i'm not a fan, don't particuraly like free verse but hey don't take my opinion too seriously because I'm a young poet.
