Wine to still the mind, whiskey for the dreams, and a moonlight serenade all that seems to be. Dulcet are the tones in the aftermath of tears and soft the finger touch that calms a woman’s fear but long ago serenity can’t creep up from the rear and sing again so graciously close to a listening ear. Wine to still the mind, whiskey for the dreams, and comes again that serenade I need to hear, to feel, until winter bows defeated to summer’s ecstasy! Helen / 7 May 2007 |

Helen~ While I don't do whiskey and I don't do wine I could sip a glass of your poetry for the all of time~ I enjoyed your 'moonlight serenade'~ *Huglets* ~*Marge*~ ~*The sound of a kiss is not as strong as that of a cannon, but it's echo endures much longer*~ |

Thank you all so much for reading and for commenting and, Jo, there's always a summer waiting to come around again - so says that moonlight serenade but I forget, you know. |
