The hoar frost enwraps my soul
A solid Arctic hold

Numbing all emotion
Feelings getting dulled

Wishing for an ember glow
To ignite the blaze

Just a little spark of fire
Will burn away the haze

This will never happen though
I am too morose

Every day I walk around
My despondency grows

A powerful image:

"The hoar frost enwraps my soul
A solid Arctic hold..."

interesting 'write'!
