gray pearl of night sky
beckons midnight hour

muted light plays hide and seek
with tundra and tussocks

and the moon smiles

And I checked what "tussocks" are and they fit beautifully into your poem I feel.

Your eyes caught beauty and the pen fixed it for others to enjoy.
