Your memory calls me gently
Slowly stirring my soul
Reminding me that you're gone
Now though there is more than just this gaping hole

Light peers through the darkness
Your smile could always light my day
You always lead me by the hand
Recalling the feeling when you drifted away

Your memory is forever etched in me
No time, distance, or pain could erase
Your beauty softly touches like cool rain
We share the same space

Some people remain with us forever
They live deep within
Your memory will always linger on
My mother, my best friend

"When life gives you sorrow, may you experience the spirit of laughter"

My heart aches for your loss, whilst I envy you more than you could know.

ah Amy, I do know that loss, though 27 years gone now, this poem says it exactly!

This made me cry as it is such an emotional and beautiful poem.
This was excellent.
