She Smiles |

if only she was as wise as the ocean tides come and go, just as the seasons moments pass by quickly, oh how time flies moments lost, memories though are kept she smiles fighting not to run, she stood her ground in weakness, she found strength running freely like the wind no longer feeling held down she smiles chains broken, unlocked forever her heart now whole wiping away tears of happiness she looks towards her future she smiles she touches the thorn she bleeds she feels the pain this time though it is different she still smiles the rain serves to remind a lifetime of heartache the sun now comes out and she smiles "When life gives you sorrow, may you experience the spirit of laughter" |
