Intermission----no mater one is in the play or watches the play, there is the time for oneself to have a break in physical, emotional, and in spirit alone to feel the feel. It is the time to be quiet with oneself. To be the true self. As if It weren’t enough That we die There is pain Like soldiers Reciting wounds **Death is already a painful thing to us. But still we want to open all old scars again and again to add more pain to life. Why? There are other things we can think of like ….love stories A man and woman Two Boomers ***Fiftysomething, colorful experience, wars, political events…. need an intermission Who at one time-----In the past, when young, or not young Might have been more----love or care or friendship, a relationship at least is more than strangers. Speak of symptoms-------- 1. They still care for each other and listen to how one feels. 2. Symptoms…the feel. The physical wellbeing and pain, the emotional pleasure and pain, the up and down of spirit. It can also mean that the waving of unfinished emotion through all those years. Those are true feelings. 3. They can at least calmly talk about anything. Because of the “old” age...or maturity.(?!) Instead of poems ***No dreams anymore. The true feelings about oneself or life can not be well expressed through poems. They are more than poems. Real life is much more romantic or dramatic than words can tell. ***those are how I read the poem. [This message has been edited by Drauntz (04-30-2007 04:46 AM).] |
