I struggle to get up
To face another day
filled with pain and tears,
I get so lost
feel so weak
and act like I have no purpose.

That is until you call my name
tell me that you need me
to be your rock
and pull you through
the storm that you are in.

Suddenly I'm strong
I take on a protective role
I can face each day with new meaning
and protect you with a powerful force
simply because...

I love you.
