You Will Not Be Aware I go off into a quiet place When I am feeling low There I will cry for hours No one shall ever know Sadness can be hidden If I keep it out of sight I weep tears in silence Hugging my pillow tight Yearning is never heard A heart aches silently My face hid in a pillow Sorrow no one will see Its easy masking sorrow You will not be aware I can pretend all is fine A smile covers despair Hope©2007 Link to the poem with music and graphic at the URL below http://thestarlitecafe.com/poems/105/poem_83875296.html |

I could relate to this so much. I have tried to write poems similar to this before but have never succeeded in making the words come together as well as you have done. |
