From finger touch feel to intrusive probes
mind delves into caverns and caves
placed just so around the soul
in glorified vulnerability
to the unmentionable.

Treasures or trash and just my luck
to uncover a deep mystery
that wiggles and jiggles the real
into a beautiful dream
but up from the depths to light
the emotional part of a heart
bares all to the consciousness
of anyone interested.

I trace the line back to a time
before the need to know
the reach and stretch, dimensions,
of unopened and packaged love
and in the return I feel the yearn
for life to start over again.

Stay, stay, stay in today
but the clock always has to tick
and forward the brain has to go
again, again, into that mystery
uncovered the day I met you!

LeeJ - thank you! Your reply is poetry itself and I'm honoured that it's directed at me.

Absolutely beautiful.  I love the imagery.  And the deep feelings that welled up inside ...
